26 अप्रैल 2005: JOURNALISM का क्रेज और मेरा पहला अनुभव. शुरुआत हुई श्रीगंगानगर के रिड़मलसर के धोरों से. घर पर बिन-बताए मैं निकल पड़ा उस ओर जहां बेजुबान वन्य प्राणियों के प्यास से मारे जाने की सूचना थी. वैशाख मास की दोपहरी में मैं साथी भूपेंद्रसिंह दहेल के ट्रेक्टर पर रिड़मलसर से पांच किलोमीटर आगे बियावान धोरों में पहुंचा. नश्तर की तरह चुभती धूल भरी तेज-गर्म हवाएं मुझे अहसास दिला रहीं थी उन निरीह बेजुबानों के चुप्पी भरे दर्द का.
